Introduction
My name is Patrick McCarthy and i’m an esports enthusiast. I’m starting this blog to give my insights and point of view on all things esports. I’ve been a gamer since I had the hand eye coordination to move a mouse and use a keyboard. I created, coached, and managed a collegiate League of Legends team. I’ve also interned at Intel where I was tasked with a large variety of projects all related to advancing Intel’s position in esports by creating footholds in niche areas of esports.
I recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in economics. I’m pursuing roles in esports with the goal of helping make esports bigger than the NFL.
